Scott Duncan - Music- Celtic Fiddler

So.....
Is it a violin or a fiddle? The debate rages on...but does it
matter? According to Scott, it does not. Growing up in the
Calgary-style-dual-classical/fiddle world since age 5, and
exploring many other genres of music along the way, Scott is
still attempting to find an alternative name for this
instrument that would not offend anyone. Until then,
referring to his own as a fiddle, he continues to play and write
to his heart's content.

Scott's current fixation on Celtic music began with numerous
trips to Scotland and the rest of the U.K. over 10 years with
the Calgary Fiddlers, and continued through 5 years with
groups Fiddlers GF and Barrage. Having toured with a few
other swing, country, and folk artists and groups including
SteeleHeart, John Wort Hannam, and The Polyjesters,
tradtional(-esque) Celtic still rings true in his heart.
